Man. This is the part where I get to tell you the title and show you the cover for the sequel to The Raven Boys. I’m just . . . really excited.

Well, if you combine those things, sort of, you get the truth of the sequel, which is:

Dream Thieves cover

It comes out September 17th, and right now I only have two pre-order links: Amazon and Barnes & Noble. But I’m going to add on Indiebound as soon as I can get my paws on a link.

ETA: Here is the link to pre-order signed and doodled-in copies from The Fountain Bookstore as usual.

And oh am I excited for you guys to read it. It has All of My Favorite Things. Which means I will be nervous as anything the week it comes out. But there you go.

    Oh my goodness Maggie. I cannot get over how excited I am about this. :) It looks amazing… nothing to be nervous about. I can only imagine how fabulous it looks next to a copy of The Raven Boys.

    *sigh* I’m pining now… I loved the Raven Boys, so I don’t know how I’ll make it until September. The cover has me flummoxed, though: are you introducing a batch of new characters? Have you watched too many Fast and Furious movies? :)

    Ohh, I’m so happy right now. The cover looks amazing, and I’m intrigued by the title. I really liked Ronan so I’m excited to see more of him, I guess I will just have to be content with him on the cover till September comes. That last line…
    No need to feel nervous, everything will be fine, it will be just so hard to wait until the release. Hope you have a great day

    The cover is beautiful and I am so excited–the 17th is mere days before my birthday, so I already know what my favorite present will be! I adored The Raven Boys–I was nervous when it came out because I loved The Scorpio Races SO MUCH (it has All Of My Favorite Things) but your writing is so tremendously lovely that I had nothing to fear. I’m sure this will be no different.

    I CANNOT WAIT A MOMENT LONGER.
    you know when you start a really great series just when it comes out and then you have to WAIT … PAINSTAKING MONTHS … for the author to come up with the sequels as opposed to just starting the series after all the books have been written?
    yeah. i know.

    I literally just now finished reading your extremely well crafted book The Raven Boys that was suggested to me by my sister. It was AMAZING! It took me to another world and I loved every word of it. I am in love with your work and plan on reading ALL of your books. Especially The Dream Thieves which I am very eager to read and find out what happens next! The next eight months better go by fast!

    I was just researching Irish boys names and came across the meaning of Ronan, and was wondering if its meaning and the myth of the seals was a factor in your choice of that name for that particular character?

    It’s so breathtaking! I cannot wait for this book. The Raven Boys was beautifully written and so engaging. I recommended it to my librarian to recommend for Battle of the Books next year for my school since we read The Scorpio Races this year. That was amazing too. Your water horses sound like kelpies. :)

    WOW, just finished listening to the audio of Raven Boys on my way to work, and sat down to review it as soon as I arrived (http://sexinthelibrary.blogspot.com/2013/02/raven-boys.html). Absolutely the best book I’ve read so far this year, and it’s been a good year, too! As much as I loved Scorpio Races, I think Raven Boys is even better.

    Now I’m eagerly awaiting the sequel. If you have an ARC available, the Washington State Young Adult Review Group (WashYARG) is a good place to send it (and then maybe I could snag it for an early review!). http://www.kcls.org/evergreen/about_washyarg.cfm

    Yes!!!!!! sooo excited for this one!! I yelled/squealed so loud, I woke up my mom two rooms over (she wasn’t too happy about that but I was). I love all of your books! To be honest, I don’t really re-read books because I always found it a waste of time since I knew how it ended but I have to say I’ve broken those personal rules on the Shiver series and the Raven Boys (read them both three times) :) Can’t wait to read more about Ronan (and all the other raven boys)!

    I just finished the Raven Boys in three days. I’ve never read anything you’ve written before but now I will be looking into your other books. I work in a bookstore and willbe recommending this book to everyone. Can’t wait for the sequel because I was worried the first book didn’t end properly but now with a sequel it makes sense. So excited by the ending! Great writing I am definitely a new fan now.

    I can’t wait to read this. I loved Shiver, Linger, and Forever and was thrilled when The Raven Boys came out. I love how your books always manage to make me laugh, cry, and scream “NO!”. I will defiantly read this series more than once like I did with the Wolves of Mercy Falls series. It’s just a shame September is so far away.

    I read The Raven Boys in a night, and then read it over again the next day because I couldn’t believe how good it was!! The best part is that I found the book on a log in the park with a note inside that said “to whoever reads this book, have a wonderful journey!”. I can’t even imagine a better way to acquire a great book (I had to take it, it was homeless). I sincerely can’t wait for the next book!! A beautiful title and cover:) I probably won’t find this one in the park, but a good story is worth every penny! Can’t wait until September!!

    LOVE THE COVER ! . I’m not even done the Rave Boys yet, and I love it. I just had to see if there was any info on book 2, and there is!! . I was also wondering if you could get Chapters Indigo to put this as a pre-order book too. Anyway love it and can’t wait till Dream Thieves release( even though I haven’t finished book one yet) .

    I am a GINORMUS (I know it’s not a word, but whatever) fan of all of Maggie S.’s books, and I CAN’T WAIT for The Dream Thieves. It’s going to be a totally epic book!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
